Breakfast at Besaw's

During my trip to Portland I learned that locals love their breakfasts and that there are lots of restaurants serving up great breakfasts (perfect for someone like me who could eat breakfast for lunch and dinner!).  One such restaurant is Besaw's.  They strive to use local ingredients (they even have their own garden outside the restaurant), and they use local cage-free eggs and 100% hormone-free dairy products. The result is super delicious food that supports their commitment to sustainability and the community.

Hella Burrito

I had the Farmer's Hash, which was very good. How could a combination of eggs, rosemary potatoes, bacon, roasted garlic cloves, caramelized onions, arugula, and cheddar cheese NOT be good?

My husband had the Hella Burrito, one of Besaw's specialties. A whole wheat tortilla was filled with housemade chorizo, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, onion, arugula, roasted potatoes, avocado, pico de gallo, chipotle sour cream. He loved it!                                     

My kids thought their Mickey Cake was very cute, and they all enjoyed their meals.

The food was great, and so was the service.

Besaw's was definitely a great breakfast spot!
