Kaka`ako Kitchen - Casual Dining at Its Best

With a focus on using fresh, local ingredients, Kaka`ako Kitchen offers delicious dishes in a casual setting.

Furikake Tempura Catfish

My favorite dish from Kaka`ako Kitchen is the Sweet Chili Chicken.  Pieces of chicken are tossed in a sweet chili-teriyaki sauce that is very tasty with a spicy little kick.

The Garlic Chicken looks almost identical, but the taste of garlic is very evident, but not overpowering.

My husband ordered the catfish.  I never had catfish before, and it looked too good not to try.  I found it to be very delicious, and my husband agreed.

We couldn't leave without getting some dessert, and everything was yummy, with my fave being the Cookie Dough Brownie.

On another visit we went with some friends and ordered the following:

Hamburger Steak

Furikake Mahi Wrap

Ultimate Yacht Clubhouse Triple Decker Sandwich

Loco Moco

I had the clubhouse sandwich, which included Mahimahi Dore, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and crispy onion strings.  It was huge and pretty good, but I think I'll just stick to the Sweet Chili Chicken from now on.

Everyone else enjoyed their meals.

Kaka`ako Kitchen is a great example of casual dining at its best!
